PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul announced that they have made a trade with the LA Kiss for WR Markee White.
Markee White, 6'7, was traded for a No. 10 Claim Order selection. Coach Dolezel issued a release and was excited with the acquisition of the former Texas State wide receiver.
"Markee is a very talented athlete," Dolezel said in a press release. "We are always looking tot improve ourselves and when the opportunity presented itself, we jumped on it. We are excited to get him to Philadelphia and add him to our offense."
This season with LA, White recorded 53 receptions, 523 yards and 5 touchdowns. In addition, he's contributed on defense as well with 10 tackles.
This was a great move by Philadelphia because they add to their impressive WR corp. Markee joins WRs V'Keon Lacey, Tiger Jones, and Ryan McDaniel. Markee will give QB Dan Raudabaugh more valuable options to throw to now that teams will likely adjust to the Soul's aggressive receivers.
The Soul are home on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Storm. The game is catchable on ESPN 3 and Soul Insider Gazette.
